We are often asked to swim agility and working dogs for fitness, this is something we are happy to do, as we believe dogs should always have the opportunity to maintain their peak condition. We would like to make you aware however, as we are a specialist rehabilitation centre, these dogs will receive the same assesment, treatment protocol and service as dogs swimming for rehabilitation, working dogs can have hidden issues or minor injuries that need addressing before a fitness programme is undertaken. We do not offer a quick dip service. This does not increase the cost of fitness swimming. We are also happy to offer discounts for clients swimming more than one dog, although for safety reasons we do not allow more than one dog in the pool at any one time.
As there are several conditions affecting dogs that are contraindicated with swimming we will require a veterinary health check prior to your dog visiting Meadow Farm.
