Pet Portrait Photography
In 1999 whilst working in a local veterinary surgery I met Jamie David a professional portrait photographer. Jamie owned several Schnauzers and his rapport with dogs was instantly noticable. I asked Jamie to take some photos at Meadow Farm and one of these went on to win Jamie the title of Pet Portrait Photographer of the year 2000.
In 2004 I had several clients wanting special memories of their elderly dogs. I asked Jamie to hold a pet portrait day for these clients, it was a resounding success, so
from May to September every year we now hold a series of portrait days for dogs and horses at Meadow Farm.
These exclusive portrait days are organised by appointment, we offer reduced sitting fees at £15.00 per two animals (normally £175.00). All photographs are taken in natural outdoor settings, you are able to view them on the day and discounts are available for orders placed that day.
Jamie is happy to accomodate requests for specific settings wherever possible so you can have that special reminder of your pet as you know them best. Jamie will take time to reasure nervous animals and is patient and calm with the more energetic of our friends. It only stakes a split second to get the photo you have always wanted, so don't be discouraged even if you are convinced your dog won't sit still.
Some unique photos taken over the last few years at Meadow Farm can be viewed at Jamiedavidphotography.
